KRESCEND POINT Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the KRESCEND Rewards programme, including the earning and redemption of KRESCEND Points and the use of Reward Coupons.

By participating in KRESCEND Rewards, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

KRESCEND Rewards is an optional promotional loyalty programme operated by KRESCEND. It does not replace or restrict any statutory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

1. KRESCEND Points

KRESCEND Points are promotional loyalty points awarded in connection with eligible purchases and, where applicable, other qualifying activities offered by KRESCEND.

Points are not cash, electronic money, a gift card, or a bank balance. They have no independent cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Points may only be used through the redemption options made available under the KRESCEND Rewards programme.

Points may not be sold, transferred, exchanged between customer accounts, or otherwise commercially traded unless KRESCEND expressly provides such functionality.

2. Earning Points

Different products may award different numbers of KRESCEND Points.

The number of Points available for a particular product may depend on the product, product category, promotional campaign, or other commercial conditions applicable at the time of purchase.

The number of Points displayed for an eligible product at the time the order is placed will determine the Points attributable to that product.

Where an order contains multiple eligible products, the Points awarded for those products will be accumulated and added to the customer's KRESCEND Rewards balance.

Products with the same or similar selling price may award different numbers of Points.

Certain products or promotional offers may provide additional Points, reduced Points, or no Points. Where special conditions apply, they will be communicated as part of the relevant product or promotion.

3. Crediting of Points

Points will be credited to the relevant KRESCEND Rewards account in accordance with the status and processing of the eligible order.

There may be a reasonable processing period before newly earned Points appear or become available in the customer's account.

Points awarded as a result of a manifest technical, calculation, duplication, or system error may be corrected. Where a material correction affects a customer's balance, KRESCEND may notify the affected customer.

4. Cancellation, Return or Refund of a Purchase That Earned Points

Points are awarded only in relation to purchases that are ultimately retained by the customer.

If an order is fully cancelled or fully refunded, the Points originally awarded for that order will be deducted from the customer's KRESCEND Rewards balance.

If only part of an order is cancelled, returned or refunded, only the Points originally awarded in relation to the affected product or products will be deducted.

This rule applies even if the Points had already been credited to the customer's account.

If the customer has already redeemed or used some or all of the Points generated by the subsequently cancelled or refunded purchase, the corresponding Points may still be deducted from the Rewards balance.

As a result, the customer's Points balance may temporarily become negative.

Any Points earned afterwards may first be applied towards restoring a negative Points balance before becoming available for further redemption.

KRESCEND will not automatically deduct an assumed monetary value of such Points from a statutory cash refund merely because Points were previously awarded for the purchase.

Nothing in this section limits any refund or withdrawal rights provided by mandatory consumer law.

5. Redeeming Points for Reward Coupons

Available KRESCEND Points may be exchanged for Reward Coupons offered through the KRESCEND Rewards programme.

Each Reward Coupon may have its own:

redemption requirement;

discount value;

minimum order value;

eligible products or product categories;

validity period, where applicable; and

other specific conditions.

The applicable conditions will be displayed to the customer before or at the time the Reward Coupon is redeemed.

Once Points have been exchanged for a Reward Coupon, the corresponding number of Points will be deducted from the customer's Rewards balance.

A Reward Coupon cannot ordinarily be exchanged back into Points or cash once it has been redeemed, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise by KRESCEND.

6. Reward Coupons Apply to a Subsequent Order

A Reward Coupon created by redeeming KRESCEND Points may only be used on an eligible subsequent order.

It cannot be applied retrospectively to the order that generated the Points used to obtain that Reward Coupon.

It also cannot be retrospectively applied to an order that has already been completed.

7. One Active Reward Coupon at a Time

A customer may have only one active redeemed KRESCEND Reward Coupon at a time.

While an unused Reward Coupon remains active, the customer may be prevented from redeeming Points for another Reward Coupon.

Once the existing Reward Coupon has been used or otherwise ceases to be active, the customer may redeem another available Reward Coupon, subject to having sufficient Points.

The customer may redeem another Reward Coupon of the same denomination after the previous coupon of that denomination has been used, provided sufficient Points are available and that Reward remains offered by KRESCEND.

8. One Reward Coupon Per Order

Only one KRESCEND Reward Coupon may be applied to a single order.

Multiple KRESCEND Reward Coupons cannot be combined or stacked within the same order.

This restriction applies specifically to KRESCEND Reward Coupons.

Whether a Reward Coupon may be combined with another type of promotional benefit, promotional code, first-purchase offer, referral benefit, shipping promotion or other campaign will depend on the conditions of the relevant promotion and the options made available at checkout.

9. Minimum Order Value

Each Reward Coupon may have a different minimum order value.

A Reward Coupon can only be used where the relevant order satisfies the minimum order requirement applicable to that coupon.

The applicable minimum order value and any relevant calculation conditions will be displayed before redemption and/or before the coupon is applied.

The conditions attached to a Reward Coupon at the time it is issued will not normally be changed after issuance to the customer's disadvantage, except where a change is required by law or necessary to correct a manifest technical error.

10. Orders Worth Less Than the Reward Coupon

A Reward Coupon must be used in a single eligible transaction.

Where the value eligible for discount is lower than the face value of the Reward Coupon and the system permits the coupon to be applied, any unused portion of the Reward Coupon will be forfeited.

The unused portion will not:

be paid in cash;

be returned as KRESCEND Points;

be issued as store credit;

be transferred to a new Reward Coupon; or

be carried forward to a future purchase.

For example, if a €10 Reward Coupon is validly applied to an order where only €8 can be discounted, the remaining €2 will not be returned or carried forward.

Customers should therefore review the order value before applying a Reward Coupon.

11. Reward Coupons Are Not Cash

Reward Coupons are promotional benefits provided through KRESCEND Rewards.

They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred for monetary consideration, withdrawn to a bank account, or treated as a cash balance.

A redeemed Reward Coupon is generally non-refundable and cannot voluntarily be converted back into Points merely because the customer decides not to use it.

This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

12. Cancellation or Return of an Order Using a Reward Coupon

Where a customer voluntarily cancels or returns an order on which a Reward Coupon has already been used, the Reward Coupon will not automatically be reinstated or converted back into Points.

Any cash refund will be calculated by reference to the amount actually paid for the relevant goods after applicable discounts, subject always to mandatory consumer law.

Where only part of an order is returned, the refund for the returned product will reflect the discount allocated to that product as part of the original transaction.

If KRESCEND cancels an order because KRESCEND cannot fulfil it, including where a product becomes unavailable or an order cannot be supplied for reasons attributable to KRESCEND, KRESCEND will restore the affected Reward Coupon or provide an equivalent Rewards adjustment where reasonably practicable.

Where mandatory consumer law requires a different treatment of a Reward Coupon in connection with cancellation, withdrawal or refund, mandatory law will prevail.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to impose a penalty for exercising a statutory consumer right.

13. Other Promotions and Campaigns

KRESCEND may operate additional promotions separately from KRESCEND Rewards, including product-specific campaigns, new-customer promotions, referral programmes, event promotions, shipping benefits, bonus Points campaigns and other temporary offers.

Separate conditions may apply to each promotion.

Participation in one promotion does not automatically guarantee eligibility for another promotion.

Where multiple promotions may be combined, the applicable conditions will be communicated through the relevant campaign, product page, checkout or promotional materials.

14. Bonus and Promotional Points

KRESCEND may occasionally offer increased or additional Points for selected products, categories, customers, activities or promotional periods.

Additional conditions may apply to promotional Points.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional Points remain subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Once an eligible purchase is completed under a stated Points offer, KRESCEND will not retrospectively reduce the number of Points attributable to that completed purchase solely because the Points rate is subsequently changed.

15. Abuse, Fraud and Incorrectly Obtained Points

KRESCEND may review Rewards activity where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misuse, manipulation or a material system error.

Examples may include artificially creating purchases for the purpose of generating Points, repeatedly cancelling transactions after using Points, abusing referral programmes, creating multiple accounts to obtain duplicate promotional benefits, manipulating chargebacks, or exploiting a technical error.

Where misuse or an error is reasonably established, KRESCEND may correct the relevant Points balance, cancel improperly obtained Reward Coupons or restrict participation in KRESCEND Rewards.

Any action taken under this section will be proportionate to the identified issue and will not restrict statutory consumer rights.

16. Changes to KRESCEND Rewards

KRESCEND may update the Rewards programme, the types of Rewards available, future Points earning rates or these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary for commercial, operational, legal, security or technical reasons.

Changes affecting future purchases or future Rewards may take effect from the stated effective date.

Where a material change would adversely affect already-earned Points or an already-issued Reward Coupon, KRESCEND will provide reasonable notice where required and reasonably practicable.

KRESCEND will not use this clause to retrospectively remove rights that customers have already acquired where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

17. Suspension or Termination of the Programme

KRESCEND may suspend, replace or terminate the KRESCEND Rewards programme for legitimate commercial, operational, legal or technical reasons.

Where reasonably practicable, customers will be given advance notice of a material programme termination and an opportunity to use valid existing Rewards during an announced transition period.

Different treatment may apply where an individual account is restricted because of confirmed fraud or material abuse.

18. Personal Data

Participation in KRESCEND Rewards may require KRESCEND to process information relating to the customer's account, purchases, Points balance, Reward redemptions and related programme activity.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with KRESCEND's Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

The Rewards programme does not by itself constitute consent to receive marketing communications where separate consent is required by law.

19. Statutory Consumer Rights

KRESCEND Rewards is an additional promotional benefit.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, limits or replaces any mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable consumer-protection law.

Where these Terms conflict with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will prevail to the extent of that conflict.
